Aerial bombardment of rural areas of As-Suwayda and Deir Ezzor in Syria on Tuesday evening reportedly killed and wounded several Assad regime militiamen.

The regime's ‘SANA’ agency claimed that regime air defenses responded to the planes which carried out the bombing of the militias’ bases.

SANA claimed that the bombardment targeted the Kabbagb area, west of Deir Ezzor and the Al-Sukhna area, in addition to sites near the city of Sallakh, in the south of As-Suwayda.

Gunmen affiliated with the Russian-linked Palestinian ‘Al-Quds Brigade’ militia on Monday carried out an attack on an Assad regime Military Intelligence Division checkpoint south of Deir el-Zour, killing and wounding a number of regime personnel.

Call Syria reported that the militiamen attacked the Hreibsha checkpoint on the Damascus-Deir Al-Zour highway after military intelligence personnel stationed there stopped an ambulance carrying Al-Quds Brigade personnel who had been wounded earlier in a landmine explosion in the southern rural area of Deir el-Zour countryside.

An Assad regime military checkpoint in the eastern Ghouta in Damascus countryside was reportedly attacked on Sunday evening by unknown persons with weapons including knives and axes.

"The barrier that was attacked was located in the vicinity of the city of Arbin in Eastern Ghouta; as a result, four people were wounded, and one of them was said to be in critical condition," revealed Call Syria, citing local sources.

The local Suwayda 24 network has published an investigation, including detailed information and documents, revealing operations to recruit dozens of young Syrians from the Suwayda governorate, who are being conscripted in order to be transferred to Libya where they’re used as mercenaries alongside Haftar’s militias.

An elderly Syrian man, named as Nader Aboud Abu Yousef, died on Sunday after suffering a heart attack while searching for a picture of his only son, who was detained by the Syrian regime, among the leaked ‘Caesar’ photographs.
