Far-Right Refugees: Trump, Putin, and Musk’s Global White-Victimhood Network
Vladimir Putin’s special envoy Kiril Dmitriev today hailed a “brave German truth-teller” named Naomi Seibt — the self-styled “anti-Greta” of Germany’s far-right AfD party – for allying with fellow white supremacists in the USA, and for vowing to ‘FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT’ together for their cause and ‘restore European pride’.
On X, Dmitriev congratulated Seibt for “standing up to liberal tyranny” and praised Elon Musk for creating “the only platform where truth can no longer be silenced.”
The timing was immaculate.
Wednesday: Fox News reported that Seibt is seeking asylum in the USA, uncritically airing her absurd claim of being “persecuted" in Germany for her political views.
Thursday: The White House formally announces that the USA will take just 7,500 refugees next year — the lowest number in decades - mostly white South Africans he calls “victims of persecution”: apparently U.S. which once ran Operation Paperclip to smuggle in Nazi scientists after World War II, is now rolling out the welcome mat for neo-Nazi podcasters and apartheid nostalgists who share their worldview.
And ending the week, on Friday, the Kremlin hums the same tune, recasting white supremacists as the world’s new oppressed minority.
Two capitals. Three megaphones. One message.
Musk’s Megaphone
Dmitriev’s praise wasn’t idle flattery. Musk has turned Twitter’s carcass into the command centre of global far-right propaganda.
He’s gutted moderation, reinstated Kremlin and neo-Nazi accounts, and pumped hate and conspiracy content through an “unbiased” algorithm.
Having apparently tired of building ugly cars and defective rockets, Musk now spends his days channelling Alexander Dugin, warning that civil war in the UK is “inevitable” and Europe faces “mass death” thanks to liberalism.
That isn’t foresight — it’s Kremlin propaganda 101, and X is its loudest echo chamber.
When you own the megaphone, you don’t need to shout; you just tilt the algorithm.
The ‘Conservative Revolution’ Goes Mainstream
This week’s synchronised messaging could have been lifted straight from Dugin’s playbook.
Putin’s court philosopher — idolised by white supremacists from David Duke and Nick Griffin to Tucker Carlson (all, unsurprisingly, keen Assadists) — preaches a “conservative revolution” led by Trump and Putin, uniting authoritarian, white-Christian powers against liberal democracy.
His ideas are mandatory reading in Russian military academies.
Now they’re policy: Trump’s white-only refugee plan, Musk’s algorithmic radicalisation, Dmitriev’s digital diplomacy.
Alongside them stands Benjamin Netanyahu, proving that ethno-nationalism sells best when packaged as “security” and “divine destiny.”
From Damascus to Düsseldorf
Until the Assad regime was overthrown last December, Seibt’s AfD was among its most ardent European defenders and promoters.
AfD MPs toured Damascus while the regime bombed civilians, praising Assad for “protecting civilisation” and smearing Syrian refugees as terrorists.
Now one of their own claims to be a refugee from Europe’s intolerance — and finds sympathy in Washington, Moscow and Silicon Valley.
From applauding dictators to claiming asylum from democracy: that’s some character arc.
Weaponised Racism
In France, Russian operatives are on trial for dumping pig heads at mosques and smearing Holocaust memorials with red handprints — acts staged to inflame anti-migrant rage.
The same playbook powered Brexit and Trump 2016.
This is the core of Putin’s hybrid war: manufacture division, feed the racism, then watch democracies devour themselves.
The Left’s Convenient Amnesia
Meanwhile, the self-styled anti-imperialist left that once worshipped Putin and Assad, tirelessly denying their genocide and branding their victims CIA or Mossad agents, is silent.
The “multipolar world” of their dreams has arrived — run by oligarchs, fascists and algorithmic billionaires.
Empire, it turns out, is only evil when it speaks English.
The Hybrid War’s Next Phase
Trump calls white nationalists refugees.
Putin calls fascists traditionalists.
Musk calls disinformation free speech.
Xi Jinping, Netanyahu and other genocidal strongmen, beam contentedly at a world of multipolar authoritarian impunity, where the main competition is over who can sell most arms to warlords.
This isn’t the end of Putin’s hybrid war, of course — it’s an acceleration, fought through platforms, politics and propaganda instead of tanks.
Fascism no longer goose-steps.
It trends.
